It records by itself
When a Teams, WhatsApp or Signal call starts, or a meeting on your calendar begins, recording starts. It stops a few seconds after you hang up.
Edel Notetaker records your Teams, WhatsApp and Signal calls without a bot joining, then writes the transcript and a clear summary on your own PC. No cloud. No stranger in your meeting. No monthly bill.

Who said what, line by line, with timestamps. English and French are recognised automatically, even when a meeting switches between them.
Key points, decisions and next steps, saved next to the recording. Recruiters can send it straight to the candidate in Zoho Recruit.
Nothing joins your call and nobody sees an extra participant. Edel Notetaker records the sound on your computer, the way you hear it.
Click a name in the transcript and pick the right person. Every line updates. Press play to hear who's talking.
Connect Outlook and calendar meetings are recorded automatically, with a heads-up two minutes before. Skip any with one click.
Recognised automatically, even mid-meeting. German, Spanish and more are on the way.
Key points, decisions and next steps. Salaries, notice periods and dates are kept exactly as they were said.
Connect Zoho Recruit and interview notes land on the candidate's profile. More ATS are coming. Entirely optional.
One folder per meeting: a small audio file, the transcript and the summary. Open them with anything.
Install it and you're done. No sign-up, no workspace, no admin console you don't control.
Most meeting assistants send a bot into your call and upload the whole conversation to their servers. Edel Notetaker does the work on your PC. Your data goes no further than you choose.

Open-source AI, on your PC
Prefer Claude, OpenAI or Gemini? Only the transcript goes to that provider, under your own account. Never the audio.
Connect it and the summary and transcript go to your own Zoho account.
We talk to candidates and clients all day: salaries, notice periods, reasons for leaving. Some of the most private things people say out loud. Every meeting assistant we tried wanted a bot in the call and the whole conversation on its servers.
We didn't want our conversations processed somewhere we can't see. So we built a notetaker that does the work on our own computers, and priced it fairly.
If a conversation is private enough to have, it's private enough to keep on your own computer. The Edel Notetaker team, Switzerland

No. Recording and transcription always run on your computer. Summaries are made on your computer too, by an open-source AI. If you'd rather use your own Claude, OpenAI or Gemini key (faster on older laptops), only the transcript goes to that provider, under your own account. The audio never leaves your PC.
